Lecoadic & Scotto have created quite an unusual atmosphere: a discussion between eras where contemporary design meets period objects and references. Original beams, terra cotta floor tiles—here, the authenticity and spirit of the location are preserved and respected. The suites on the second floor of Cour des Vosges have stunning views of the place des Vosges. The higher up you go, the more the panorama expands. From the suites on the third and fourth floors, you rise above the tops of the linden and horse chestnut trees in the garden.

Deluxe Suite

This immersion in history is extended by the building’s original, hand-painted historic beams; interior shutters; and a selection of works of art. It plunges you into the past, which is daringly reconstructed by decorators Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto, who have reinvented the four-poster bed as an all-stainless steel frame.
