This is Kompass, Swedish Arctic, Sweden
Kompass isn’t a hotel. It’s a five day retreat in the Swedish Arctic, limited to ten guests, split between a remote camp and Arctic Bath.
It’s for people who don’t usually stop, even when they travel. The kind whose mind keeps running regardless of where they are.
Think time outside, some structure around movement and breathwork, a few elements grounded in neuroscience, but mostly a lot of space. Nothing is forced. It also carries on after the stay, so it feels more purposeful and actually tailored.
George spent years living off grid in the region and has built a genuine connection with the landscape and the local Sámi communities. You feel that straight away. The team around him are solid, each in their field, and very used to delivering at a high level without making it feel heavy.
It’s a unique retreat, and deliberately not for everyone.

The Experience
The first part takes place in the camp. It’s remote, warm, simple, and everything slows down quickly.
You’re outside a lot, moving, stopping, adjusting.
Then you move to Arctic Bath, bringing a different pace, and it’s where things settle before you leave.
Access
Kiruna. Straightforward to reach, whether commercial or private.
From there, everything is handled.
Boutiquologie Insight
This only works because it’s contained. Small group, proper structure, and a team that knows what they’re doing. It’s not trying to appeal to everyone, and that’s exactly why it will resonate with the right individuals.
